At the table with our cuisine

The Ladin valleys in the Dolomites, just like other valleys in the Alps, have maintained a culinary culture based on local products, enhancing their qualities to give the Ladin cuisuine dishes and specialties of authentic an genuine flavours, transforming these courses in traditional dishes passed down from generation to generation.

In our Hotel, hosts taste typical seasonings of our valleys, food personally prepared by the owners Iolanda and Gianni who also select raw ingredients. In Spring and Summer, our cuisine is provided daily with fresh seasonal products such as the rich variety of vegetables gathered garden nearby the hotel.

First dishes

Just like different seasons offer different products, also our genuine cuisine offers a variety of different seasonal dishes. We prepare entrees/main courses ranging from traditional Italian food, to local specialties like Canederli with speck (Italian smoked ham) in broth or ragù, Casunziei with ricotta and spinach, our Gnocconi Aurora (our own potato dumplings) with cheese and bread, and traditional Winter soups with barley and milk.

Second dishes

You will also taste our meat and fish courses like roe deer in salmì with polenta or beef Goulash, game prepared with special care by Madame Iolanda with traditional herbs and spices, and trout caught in the pure waters of the lakes and rivers of the Dolomites.


Our desserts too are homemade by Iolanda and her sister Domenica that seems to have fun to use all the fruit to continue to prepare and decorate cakes apple strudel or cake Saracen with the severe air of who knows a lot about the sweets …
