Hotel Aurora is family run and lies in the quiet village of Saviner di Caprile, a small paradise corner, surrounded by famous peaks such as Marmolada, Civetta, Pelmo and Tofana, and not far from the most imprtant passes: Pordoi, Sella, Fedaia and Falzarego and from the slopes of the Dolomiti Superski Civetta and of the Marmolada glacier.
The three-star hotel is run by the Famiglia Pezzč family and is ideal for a pleasant and relaxing holiday on the Dolomites. Here you will have the opportunity of choosing between half or full board and bed and breakfast.

The hotel is open both in Summer and in Winter and is a perfect starting point for a motorbike or bike tours discovering unique landscapes, as well as for walks along the Serrai di Sottoguda. In Summer the bus stop is less as 100 meters away from the hotel.

Near to the hotel you will find a small private Museum about the First World War which is owned by the Pezzč Family. Here you will have the opportunity of admiring hundreds First World War (1915-18) relics coming from battlefields such as Marmolada and Col di Lana. These are a vivid demonstration of the sufferings, the braveness and the life of soldiers during this war.
Hotel and restaurant guests can enjoy a free guided visit to the museum.

Among the findings exposed in the museum you can admire an Austrian helmet with protection, which was used mostly in the guard duty, since it often unbalanced the helm. But also a wonderful collection of food cans.
